How to Remove the Gearbox from a Dodge Journey

To replace the gearbox of the Dodge Journey, open the bonnet to access the screws located at the rear of the engine block. Remove these screws to free the air duct, completely detaching it. After removal, unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox to its housing.

Once you disconnect the connectors, lift the vehicle to loosen the bolts securing the gearbox to the supports underneath. You can then detach the old gearbox and replace it with a new one.
