Removing the Air Filter Box

Model: Dodge Charger LX - Years 2006-2011
Part: Air filter

To remove the box that contains the engine air filter, first, unscrew the bolt that secures the box from the air filter housing to the car body. Use the appropriate spanner to unscrew the bolt, then disconnect the small diameter rubber hose that connects the engine to the housing, which is simply clipped in place. Finally, unscrew the clamp that secures the larger diameter hose with a simple screwdriver and detach it. Once this is done, carefully move and pull the air filter box out of its designated position in the car body. The car is a Dodge Charger.
