How to install a 12V socket in the trunk of a DS7: as indicated in the video, the car is already equipped for this service, even if the option is not installed. It will be necessary to remove the trunk panel, both from the driver's side and from the passenger's side, where we will look for unused connectors wrapped in tape. We check with a multimeter that with the key inserted, the connectors have a presence of 12V current. Generally, the connectors are located under the cargo compartment, in the side panels of the trunk, near the spare tire (if there is one) or behind the side storage compartments. We look for the 3 PIN connectors, usually red/brown (12V) and black/brown for the ground. Connect the socket to the connector and insert the socket into the hole we have prepared on the panel. Reassemble the panels and check the operation.
