This video demonstrates how to remove a partially exploded airbag from the steering wheel of a Citroen C3 or DS3. Turn the steering wheel enough to see the two holes located on the sides at the bottom and back of the wheel. Use two small screwdrivers to insert into the holes; it is better to insert them simultaneously to trigger the springs inside the wheel, which the YouTuber can show us easily, as their airbag has already exploded. Once these two springs have been triggered, you can remove the module by disconnecting the electrical connector and replacing it; you can find it, for example, on eBay with the code 196431186042 at a price of £90.00 plus £10.00 for shipping.
