First, take your remote control and start removing the back plastic cover of the remote by levering on the sides with something thin and pointed; then remove the battery cover, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace the battery with a new one, of the correct type (in this case a CR 2032 3V); insert the battery in the correct direction and then secure the battery cover and then the remote cover.
