In this video we can see how to insert the child lock on the rear doors of a Fiat Tipo. Just turn with the ignition key, the white screw located in the thickness of the door, and this will only open from the outside. The "child lock" prevents dangerous openings by children during the car journey, avoiding accidental openings that could cause accidents, but in some cases it could be a problem: in case of an accident, if the adult is not conscious, the child may not be able to escape on their own; if the parent forgets to deactivate the lock, the child risks being trapped inside: some news stories have shown it. In any case, the lock does not replace supervision.
