How to reset the service light on a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

On the Fiat Punto, the service reset is performed with the engine off. With the Fiat Punto stationary, turn the ignition to MAR/ON. Use the button on the onboard computer near the dashboard (or the button at the end of the wiper lever, depending on the model) to scroll to the “Service/Maintenance” screen. When the option is visible, press and hold the command until the reset request appears; confirm by keeping it pressed or by selecting OK. Once the operation is complete, turn off and then turn on the ignition of the Fiat Punto to check that the warning no longer appears. On versions with a central display and Vehicle menu, go to Settings, then Maintenance/Service, then Reset, and confirm the procedure. If the message persists, repeat the sequence following the order and timing, and check the battery status; on some trims, the reset may require diagnostic tools.
