How is the handbrake of the Fiat 500 registered?

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2024
Part: Parking brake

The adjustment of the handbrake, also known as the parking brake, follows a standard procedure for every car, including the Fiat 500. After removing the leather cover that covers the lever, we will find a pin connected to a cable and a nut. By acting on this, we will perform the aforementioned adjustment. Once we have a wrench of the appropriate size, we will tighten or loosen it, thereby increasing or decreasing the applied tension, taking care to perform tests each time. In just a few minutes, the job is complete, allowing us to manage everything independently.
