How to reset the inertia switch in the Fiat Mobi?

Model: Fiat Mobi MK 1 - Years 2016-2024
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this tutorial, we can see how to reset the inertia switch in the Fiat Mobi, a very simple operation. The activation of the switch, indicated by the message "FPS ON" on the dashboard, occurs in the event of an impact and allows the fuel supply to the engine to be interrupted for safety reasons. First, let's go inside the cabin, then turn on the ignition and activate the right turn signal. After a few seconds, we then activate the left turn signal, repeat both steps, and turn off the ignition. At this point, all that’s left to do is start the vehicle and check that the reset was successful.
