Today, you will learn how to change the gearbox oil. First, identify the plugs located on the gearbox. First, undo the upper plug where you will insert the new oil after draining the old oil; this will also help to expel the old oil more quickly. Now, you can undo the plug located underneath the gearbox to drain all the old oil. Refit the plug as soon as all the old oil has drained, and using a funnel and a tube, insert the new oil through the upper plug and then refit it.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
