Let’s see how to remove the rear bonnet (with the engine air intake) of an old Fiat 500. Unscrew the securing nuts located above the tailgate hinges using a spanner; open the bonnet and prepare to remove the securing nuts of the strut with the appropriate spanner or socket (as shown in the video). Disconnect the power cable (if present) and remove the large engine air intake (unscrew the screws with a screwdriver). After removing all parts, proceed to assemble the new parts. Follow the disassembly steps in reverse. Test the rear tailgate to ensure it operates correctly.
