How to replace the gear knob and gaiter on the Fiat 500

Today, you will replace the gear knob and gaiter on the Fiat 500. To carry out the replacement, remove the top part of the knob to access the internal nut and unscrew it to gain access to the gear mechanism. Remove the gaiter by pushing upwards. Cut the clip at the base to remove the gaiter. Insert the new gaiter and knob into the mechanism and secure with the clip. Fit the new knob by tightening the internal nut onto the mechanism. After completing this, check the operation of the gearbox by engaging the gears.
