How to remove the power steering from a Fiat Punto? Let's see how to proceed. Before removing the power steering, disconnect the battery cables. Unscrew the plastic covers around the steering wheel with a screwdriver, then remove the screws present. Once the covers are removed, disconnect the power connectors of the power steering, then unscrew its bolts. Pull the power steering out of its housing by hand. Now that you have extracted the part, install a new one or repair the existing one. To reassemble everything, proceed in reverse order.
