Home Charging Methods for the Fiat 500e

The Fiat 500e can be charged in various ways, but home charging with a standard socket (Shuko) is the most accessible. Before connecting anything, verify two essential safety conditions: mandatory earthing: the home's electrical system must be earthed. This is crucial for everyone's safety. Also, avoid using extension leads or adapters that could compromise earthing and create dangerous situations. For charging from a domestic socket, use the specific cable provided with the car, called "Mode 2", which consists of three elements: a Shuko plug for the home socket; a charging connector (Type 2) for the vehicle; and a control unit (the black box) with electrical protections and three LEDs (green, red, yellow) that provide information on the charging status. First, connect the cable to the domestic socket (the three LEDs on the control unit will flash for about 6 seconds). Open the flap on the right side of the car and remove the protective covers. Insert the charging connector into the car socket until you hear a click indicating it is locked; if you have not set a scheduled charge, the procedure will start automatically.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening.
