The Fiat 1200 of 1957 was considered one of the most advanced cars of that period. It was not only a vehicle with cutting-edge and elegant technology but also a comfortable car with easy and safe handling.

It featured excellent gear synchronisation that could be changed using the knob next to the steering wheel. A car capable of surpassing even the Spider; the two saloon versions were indeed competing with each other for model elegance and performance.

The 1200 not only guaranteed excellent performance but also provided the buyer with a long-lasting engine life. The presence of what we now consider obsolete filters, but were modern at the time, allowed the engine to have a much cleaner air intake.

The filter was located above the engine. To replace it, simply open the front bonnet and remove the filter from the housing.
