How to close the sunroof of a 2012 Fiat 500 that is stuck open

If the sunroof of your 2012 Fiat 500 is stuck open and the button does not work, you can close it manually without the need for expensive repairs. Open the boot and look for a nut (usually 17 mm) located at the back, near the sunroof mechanism. Insert a ratchet with the appropriate socket onto the nut and turn it clockwise (pushing towards the driver's side) to slowly close the sunroof. Keep turning until the sunroof is completely closed and locked in position. This emergency mechanism is present on many Fiat 500 models. Before proceeding, check the fuses, but if the problem is purely mechanical, this solution works perfectly.
