How to Replace the Battery in Fiat 500L Remote

Replacing the battery in the 500L remote is very simple and this procedure can be adapted to all Fiat models equipped with this type of remote. First, you need to open the cover in two. To do this, press the chrome button that activates the physical key to release it from its housing. Inside the physical key housing, on the side without buttons, you will see two clips that secure the cover to the remote body. These can be released by applying some force with your hands. Once the cover is open, there will be a small round cap that holds the battery inside. This needs to be rotated using the slot at the top to unlock the fastening mechanism and remove it. The direction of rotation will be indicated by symbols near the slot. After removing the round cap, you will have access to the battery, which can be replaced with a new one, and then you can proceed to close the cap and the cover.
