How to replace the key fob battery on a Fiat 500? Here’s the procedure. Take the key fob and press the release button of the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to remove the screw located in the key cover (in the space where the metal key fits). Extract the plastic battery holder, then replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage using a small screwdriver. Fit the new battery into the holder and finally into the cover. Check the correct operation of the key fob by pressing the buttons.
