How to Replace the Steering Wheel of a Fiat Grande Punto

Here’s how to remove the steering wheel with airbag from a Fiat Grande Punto. This is a straightforward operation; follow this guide. Insert a screwdriver or a medium-length key into the side slots on the steering wheel and release the locking spring. Once the springs are unlocked, disconnect the airbag and its power connectors. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt in the centre of the steering wheel; remove it from the steering column. For reassembly, connect the power connector, then insert the steering wheel onto the steering column, press it in with your hands until it is fully seated, and tighten the securing bolts.
