Is the battery in the Fiat Grande Punto key due for a change? Here’s how to replace it. Take your ignition key and use a screwdriver to unscrew the retaining screw from the metal key fob. Remove the battery holder from the key, then extract the old battery using a screwdriver and replace it with a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the battery holder into the key fob and screw in the tiny screw. Close the metal key fob. Test the key fob by pressing the buttons to open and close the doors of the Fiat.
