Removing the external handle of the 500? Start by unscrewing the securing pins in the fixed handle on the door panel with a screwdriver, then unscrew the pins located in the plastic of the door opening lever. Remove the internal handle from the door panel, then use a trim tool to detach the trim panel. Use the trim tool to detach the adhesive panel of the door, disconnect the opening lever cable, then unscrew the securing pins of the external handle. Remove the handle from inside the door metalwork. Fit the new handle inside the door along with all associated parts.
