Repairing Dual Zone Heating on Fiat Stilo SW

If your car has dual zone heating that has gone awry (in our case, blowing hot air on one side and cold air on the other), the actuators are almost certainly broken. Remove the panel that goes from the pedal area to the central dashboard, as shown in the video, to access them: one directs hot air to the vents and the other mixes hot and cold air. On this model of car (Fiat Stilo), you can access and replace them from the lower area, even though many mechanics charge a lot because they claim to need to dismantle the entire upper dashboard. To replace them, simply unscrew and pull them out of their housing, then insert the new ones.
