Do we want to remove the diesel filter mounted on a Fiat Ducato? Let's see how to remove it from inside the dedicated compartment. First we lift the front engine hood and locate the diesel filter. Disconnect the electrical terminals from the filter, disconnect all the circulation tubes and unscrew the screws located near the container where the diesel filter is located (we can uncover the cap without removing the entire filter). We remove the filter (let's replace it with a new filter). We assemble the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (we connect pipes and cables) and tighten the appropriate pins. We close the hood at the end of the replacement.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
