Battery Replacement on Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Lift the bonnet and place the support rod in position. The battery is held in place by a bracket with two 10 mm bolts: unscrew them and remove the bracket. Next, unscrew the negative terminal bolt and disconnect it. Similarly, disconnect the positive terminal only afterwards. It's that simple! The job is done; you can now remove the old battery and insert the new one. For reassembly, proceed in reverse: connect the two terminals by tightening their bolts and finally screw the upper bracket back in.
