How to Change the Lock Cylinder and Lock on Old Fiat Panda Doors

Model: Fiat Panda 141, MK 1 - Years 1980-2003
Part: Door lock

Remove the door panels, which are clipped in place and from the window crank: for this, you will need a plastic screwdriver (ensure the window is up). Now you can see the lock! Pull out the brass block. Exit the car and detach the lock, rotating it so that it releases from the plastic mount. Insert the new cylinder from the outside, and then from inside the car, attach the plastic hook giving it a final tap with pliers to ensure it is secure. Working in reverse, replace the brass block and test that the lock functions.
