How to Remove the Ignition Barrel on Fiat Punto

Today, you will learn how to briefly remove an ignition barrel on a Fiat Grande Punto. First, clear the space to work on it by removing the plastics above and below the steering wheel and unscrewing the indicated bolts in the video. Then, insert the ignition key into the barrel, push the locking lever (with a small screwdriver) underneath the cylinder, and pull out the key along with the cylinder itself. Insert the new cylinder, proceeding in reverse order, and reassemble all the plastics you removed. Often, the cylinder can be easily repaired rather than replaced once removed.
