Problem with the ignition switch of the Fiat Grande Punto, what can be done?

In this short video, you will see the steps to replace the ignition switch, which in most cases cannot be repaired if faulty. It can be found online for around £25-30, and with this video, you can do the job yourself. Just detach the cover under the steering wheel, which is clipped in. Be careful not to force it too much to avoid breaking the plastic clips. At this point, the switch is clearly visible, and with a small flathead screwdriver, you need to press the switch's clip as shown in the video. Then follow the steps in reverse, and in no time, you will have a new working switch.
