In some cars the ignition system of the candles was entrusted to a coil and an electrical contact which, when opened, created the energy necessary to generate the high voltage necessary for the spark plugs. A pressure switch is used to control the number of revolutions of the engine at low revs. A failure of this component can compromise the tightness of the engine idle speed. To replace it, it is necessary to remove the distributor cap, unscrew the screw holding the wire of the pressure switch which must be removed from its seat. Install a new pressure switch in reverse order. If necessary, clean the stylus contacts.
