Removing the controls on the central console is a fairly simple operation that does not require special tools or skills. Start by detaching the gear lever gaiter by pulling it along the edges; then unscrew the two screws under the gaiter, those on the sides, and those under the ashtray.

At this point, detach the central console covering by pulling it forward: first, remove the covering of the central tunnel by detaching the switch panel under the handbrake (remove the other screws at the rear). Now remove the switch panel with the window controls.
