Replacement of Remote Key Micro Switch

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Inside the key shells is the electronic circuit housing the micro switch (the button) for opening and closing the doors: this is a spare part easily found in any electronics store. Leverage between the key shells to separate them and extract the electronic circuit; desolder the damaged micro switch and apply the new one, ensuring it is soldered accurately. Then reposition the electronic circuit inside the shell and close the key; finally, perform a functionality check.
