If the glow plug warning light comes on your Fiat Punto 1.3 MultiJet dashboard and the error "check glow plugs" appears, you likely have one or more burnt out. Glow plugs are heating elements powered by the car's electrical system, located near the injectors, which heat the fuel to aid cold engine starting. Newer engines also use them to reduce emissions. For replacement, know that a glow plug costs about £13, and it is recommended to replace them all at once.
