In this classic Fiat 500, the fuel tank, located in the front compartment, is secured with two metal brackets and their respective bolts. First, however, loosen the bolt that holds the ground wire, then disconnect the fuel line as shown in the video. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the gasket if it is too worn. At this point, free the brackets and detach the tank. To inspect it internally, use an endoscope: unscrew the cap and insert it into the tank. To analyse the tank from the other side, remove the float by unscrewing its bolts.
