Before you start, you may choose to remove the number plate for easier access, but this is not mandatory. Begin by prising the bulb holder from the tailgate using a thin but sturdy tool.

This will release the two clips securing the bulb holder, allowing you to extract it from the tailgate. At this point, you can disconnect the connector from the bulb holder.

Once the connector is removed, you can take out the blown bulb. To fit the new bulb, simply follow the instructions in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
