The first step is to adjust the mirror fully downwards. Once done, take a sharp object, such as a screwdriver, and lever out the glass from the casing. Now, disconnect the fixing pins and then the power connector. You can now replace it with a new glass and refit it by reversing the procedure. As you can see, this is a quick operation.
