Operation: How to replace the Fiat Stilo ECU?

In order to replace the Fiat Stilo engine management unit, you have to lift the hood to access the engine compartment. The control unit is located next to the engine block and will be connected to two connectors: by disconnecting these two connected in the upper part of the device, it will be possible to loosen the fixing bolts of the control unit and remove it from its housing. Once the old control unit has been removed, it will be possible to insert a new one, fixing it with the appropriate bolts. Finally, you will need to connect it to the connectors and close the front hood again.

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes.
