Replacing the Remote Battery for the Fiat Punto Evo

In this brief and simple guide, you will find step-by-step instructions to dismantle and replace the battery in the key remote for the Fiat Punto Evo, as well as the Grande Punto and the 500. First, take your remote and start by unscrewing the side screw found on the key housing using a cross-head screwdriver; then remove the battery tray as shown in the video. At this point, replace the old battery with a new one of the correct type; insert it the right way in the tray and reassemble everything back into the remote!
