In this video we will see how to replace the rear tailgate pistons of the Grande Punto 2009. The operation is quite simple but it takes two because once the two old pistons have been removed, the tailgate gives way. So it is necessary that while one is installing the new ones, the other must hold the tailgate. To remove the old pistons, use a slotted screwdriver and exert a slight pressure on the clip located at the end of the piston and remove it from the tailgate sphere. After having disassembled a piston, you can begin to assemble the new one by inserting the ball inside the entry hole of the piston, exerting a slight pressure. All this will take 5 minutes.
