This guide shows you how to replace car tyres with a few simple steps. Replace the tyre in case of a puncture or accident, or when the tread depth is no longer adequate. Lift the vehicle, keeping the handbrake engaged. Start raising it with the jack, and without lifting the tyre off the ground, loosen the wheel bolts counterclockwise using the appropriate spanner. Raise the vehicle enough to remove the tyre and fit the new one.
