Fiat Punto - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat Punto 188, MK 2 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Bearing
Operation: Replacing the bearings of your car

The guide explains how to change the bearing of your car without having to take your car to the mechanic, thus saving some pennies. The bearings are ball-shaped and relate to the suspensions of cars and their place is that on the drum or also called the brake disc which serves to decrease friction when the vehicle is in motion. When starting the replacement it is necessary to loosen and then remove the wheel bolts which must be lifted with the help of a jack. Then you have to unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel and you also have to remove the caliper from the brake with the help of a socket wrench or a screwdriver. Once the pliers have been removed, the metal cap must also be removed. Inside we have the presence of the split pin that must be unscrewed with a pair of pliers. Once this is done, the new bearings can be mounted.
