Brake pads play a crucial role in the safety of the vehicle and, consequently, its passengers. The following guide shows how to replace them and all the necessary tools for the procedure. Lift the car with a jack and remove the wheels by unscrewing the bolts with the appropriate socket wrench, then unscrew the bolt that secures the caliper. During this operation, take care not to hit the brake line. If the procedure has been carried out correctly, you will be facing the pads, protected by thin metal shims that can be removed to access the pads.
