Starter Motor Function Check

The starter motor has several components that are significantly prone to wear, so periodic servicing may be necessary. Once the starter motor is removed (disconnect the battery during this operation), which is located just above the gearbox, disconnect the brush holder cable from the relay and remove the lower cap to access the brush plate: you will immediately notice that the brushes are considerably worn; complete the disassembly of the starter to clean and lubricate all the components; install new brushes during reassembly and fit it back onto the vehicle.
