In this video, our friendly YouTuber shows how to insert the chrome profile - a must-have for classic 500s - into the rubber seal that finishes the front and rear windscreens. It is essential to have the profiles from the 500 "L" which have a sort of channel inside. We will insert the chrome profile into this channel. If you do not have this profile, either replace it with this one or abandon the job. You can find chrome profiles at shop.emporiobigatti.com. The special tool will also be indispensable (even the YouTuber could not name it, but it has a diamond shape and you can understand why). First, lubricate the seal slightly to facilitate the sliding of the insert. A very generic lubrication will suffice, so a bit of water and soap will do. The application is very simple, the critical moment is the curves. When you reach the end, cut off the excess. You need to tidy up the joint with a clip that covers it. Job done.
