Next, secure the bonnet with the prop rod and begin loosening the two screws that hold the bonnet fixed to its brackets on the passenger side. Then loosen the screws on the driver's side and return to the passenger side. Now hold the bonnet steady with one hand and remove the screws. While keeping the bonnet secure with one hand, move to the driver's side. This sequence is easier as the prop rod helps support the weight of the bonnet. Once you have positioned the bonnet, reassemble it in the reverse order of disassembly.
