Replacing the Engine Air Filter

The engine air filter protects the engine from impurities that could damage it over time and contributes to increased fuel consumption and pollution.

In the Fiat Punto, it is cylindrical and located in a sealed casing above the engine, easily visible as soon as you open the bonnet. First, remove the four screws from the cover and take out the old filter. A quick pass with a vacuum ensures that no debris or granules remain in the housing.

Then, position the new air filter and refit the cover.
