How to Replace the Battery on a Fiat Punto

This tutorial shows how to change the battery of a second-generation Fiat Punto, produced from 1999 to 2011. First, switch off the vehicle and open the bonnet. The battery is located on the right side of the engine bay. To replace it, remove the securing bracket by undoing its two screws with a 10 mm socket spanner. Next, pull the tab on the negative terminal (black) and disconnect it from the battery. Then, using a 10 mm spanner, undo the nut on the positive terminal (red) and disconnect it as well. Once done, you can extract the battery and replace it by reversing the procedure.
