Fiat Qubo - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat Qubo MK 1 - Years 2008-2019
Part: Bodywork
Operation: An ingenious space-saving bicycle rack for the Fiat Qubo

Let's see an ingenious bicycle rack made starting from a very common load-lifting trolley, to which extensions of about 60 cm have been applied, so as to fit the whole bicycle frame, a support for the rear wheel and one for the front wheel fork. It leaves a large part of the car's load compartment and two rear seats free, so it also makes it possible to carry passengers. It is attached via a metal clip to the structure to which the rear seat, which has currently been removed, is fixed. On the other side it rests on a small wheel - that of the trolley - which levels the structure on the right side. It is held in place by velcro, and can be removed very easily, as if it were a tray. The structure can also be used to fix the bicycle to the wall in the garage while waiting for the next exit.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
