If the air conditioning is not blowing sufficiently cold air from the vents, it may be that there is not enough refrigerant gas in the system; the correct procedure is to use a specific tool to recover the residual gas, create a vacuum, check the system for leaks, and recharge the gas by introducing the correct amount while also replacing the compressor oil. However, you can also opt for a simple gas top-up using a canister with a suitable connection to the low-pressure line; remove the cover from the engine, take off the protective cap from the quick connector, connect the canister hose, start the engine, and turn on the air conditioning; then introduce the gas.
