The horn button on a vintage 500.

Model: Fiat 500 Epoca - Years 1957-1975
Part: Checks and maintenance

This is about using the horn button from a Fiat 850 on a Fiat 500; it is an aftermarket accessory, so it is not original but compatible. As you can see, the entire button is disassembled and reassembled inside the steering wheel of the Fiat 500 - the parts are few and very easy to reassemble according to what we can see in the video - the most complicated thing is perhaps the spring that goes behind it and that must keep all the parts together, which requires a minimum of manual dexterity. Putting it back on a light-colored steering wheel will really make a nice effect. You can easily find these parts on major e-commerce platforms.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda

Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
