Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2022
Part: Third brake light
Operation: How to replace the third brake light bulb with a led one

In some cars, the third stop light is made up of a series of incandescent bulbs which should be replaced with more modern LED lights when they burn out. Getting ready for this operation, and first let's find out about the model of bulb that was mounted, in order to be able to buy the corresponding Led one. Also remember to get LEDs that are red, and pay attention to the electrical contacts that are of the same type, and if not, make the appropriate changes. Open the tailgate and remove the cover over the rear window, disconnect the electrical connection and unhook the bulb support. Let's replace them with LEDs and reconnect them to test: if a lamp doesn't light up, remove it and rotate it 90 degrees to change polarity. Once the correct functioning has been verified, reassemble everything by proceeding backwards.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
