On the Fiat 500, the number plate lights consist of two bulb-type lights that can be either halogen or LED. Let’s see together with the YouTuber author of this video guide how to replace them. First, open the boot and lift the tailgate to a comfortable height. Take a flat screwdriver and insert it into the small slot on the side of the light unit to extract it from its housing. Remove the bulb you intend to replace and fit the new one in its place, then reposition the light unit by inserting the metal tab first and applying slight pressure to snap the plastic part back in.
